Class Six

What to Expect

After successfully gaining a Companion Dog Excellence (CDX) Title you will move to class six.

Class six will consist of finessing what you have learned in the previous classes and will include the following:

· Seek back lost article

· Directed Jumping

· Scent discrimination

· Signal exercise

· Speak on command / Food refusal and/or Directed retrieve

· Group examination

· Seven minute down stay (handler out of sight)

Classes run throughout the morning and are one on one with an instructor.

Class Six will not be tested at the club.

Successful completion of class six is by gaining the UTILITY DOG (UD) title. To obtain a UD title the obedience training will be tested/assessed at a registered VCA obedience trial by a licensed VCA Judge
